What if my customer doesn't have an email address?

Customers that don't have an email address can also save for Joyn advantages in your business. To do this:

  1. If a customer scans using a non-registered card or app, the screen below will appear on the iPad.
  2. Tap 'No email address yet? Talk to the merchant.'
  3. The app will ask you to enter your iPad's access code. 
  4. After entering that code, you'll be able to add the points to the unregistered card or app. The registration screen won't appear again when this customer visits next.

Note: By 'pin passing' your customers like this you're not collecting any information about them. That means you won't be able reach them with your email campaigns. That's why you should try to avoid pin passing as much as possible, and only use this option for customers who really don't have an email address.
